- We are an ALL MACINTOSH FIRM. After much investigation, we have committed to the extra expense of equipping all of our
attorneys and key support staff with Apple Macs and MacBooks. We believe that the greater speed, reliability, capability, and
security of the Apple platform allows us to provide great legal services on a more cost-effective basis.
- We are PAPERLESS and MOBILE. Some might refer to us as a "virtual law firm" in that we maintain a minimal physical offices
and most of our attorneys work from home or on the road. All of our documents are kept in electronic form and are available to
everyone on the team over a secure internet virtual network. This method of practice greatly reduces our overhead and allows
us incredible flexibility. More importantly, our attorneys can practice effectively almost anywhere. There is little difference to us
whether the case is filed down the street or across the country.
- We take maximum advantage of the newest COLLABORATION TOOLS. Most of our communications are by Skype video
conference, which also allows face-to-face meetings with clients and our trial teams at anytime. Our clients have direct, secure
access to their case files and calendars and can take a direct role in the preparation of their cases. We use an on-line billing
system that allows clients to know exactly how and for what they are being billed, and to pay electronically if they wish.
- We utilize sophisticated TRIAL PREPARATION and PRESENTATION TECHNOLOGY. We are able to make persuasive and
informative presentations at trial and have the ability to generate our trial materials without the excessive cost of outside
consultants.
- We use LEAN and EFFICIENT STAFFING. Unlike many firms, we use one lawyer per task for most of our preparation work.
Our approach is to determine early what we need and to limit our discovery efforts to the essentials. We don't take many
depositions, but the ones we take are critical and well-prepared. We find the best way to obtain a favorable settlement or to
resolve a case on a dispositive motion is to begin preparing to take the case to trial from day one.
